Moulana Azad College Admission 2019: Maulana Azad College is a government-administered liberal science and arts college, located in central Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It is located near the junction of Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Road and SN Banerjee Road, popularly called “Lotus crossing”. It is affiliated to the University of Calcutta.

| For UG General programs, the candidates must have passed 10+2/ HS in relevant streams with 40% marks in aggregate. Admission in UG Hons. courses require candidates to have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in Arts stream and 60% marks in Science stream in 10+2 with relevant subjects. Selection in UG programs is based on the merit of the qualifying examination. Admission in MA Urdu and English requires candidates to possess a graduate degree in Hons. in English/ Urdu from any recognised University/ Institution. For M.Sc. Zoology, candidates must have obtained a bachelor’s degree in science stream in Honours with 55% marks from the University of Calcutta and 60% marks for other universities. Selection of candidates in PG courses is 60% based on the merit of the qualifying examination, while rest of the 40% seats are filled by qualifying an admission test conducted by the concerned departments of the college. 1. Passed 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate & Arabic, Bengali, History, Philosophy / Eng as well. 2. Passed 10+2 with 60% marks in aggregate & English as well. 3. Passed 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate & 45% marks in Persian/ Urdu, Sanskrit, Islamic History/ History 4. Passed 10+2 with 55% marks in aggregate & 60% in Biology/ Botany. 5. Passed 10+2 with 60% marks in aggregate & Chemistry & 40% in Mathematics. 6. Passed 10+2 with 40% in aggregate. 7. Passed 10+2 with 60% marks in aggregate & Accounting/ Mathematics as well. 8. Passed 10+2 with 50% marks in aggregate & Mathematics as well. |
